Eco-System Collaborations

Afeka College of Engineering

Meir Medical Center is strategically partnering with Afeka College of Engineering to transform clinical challenges into real-world engineering solutions, a collaboration that has been thriving for nearly a decade. Together, we run a joint incubator that enables Afeka’s faculty to jointly develop practical, impactful technologies in direct response to unmet clinical needs identified at Meir. This collaboration also extends to medical engineering students who run their projects on real life clinical issues, and also into data science and AI, where students engage in cutting-edge research and development projects grounded in healthcare realities.

KI Institue

The KI Institute is an independent, nonprofit research organization specializing in computational health and data-driven healthcare solutions. Through our collaboration, clinicians at Meir are invited to submit real-world clinical and operational challenges. These are transformed into applied research projects in partnership with KI’s data science teams.

Weizmann Institute of Science  - Bina

Bina, the translational science unit at the Weizmann Institute of Science, to bridge the gap between real-world clinical challenges and cutting-edge scientific research. Through this collaboration between Meir and Bina, we aim to identify pressing clinical problems from Meir's healthcare environment and match them with the groundbreaking research and technological expertise nurtured at Bina. By leveraging Bina’s unique Program—which supports high-impact, translational research through expert industry mentorship—this partnership seeks to drive innovative solutions from lab to clinic, accelerating the path from scientific discovery to tangible health outcomes.

The Investors Forum

Meir Medical Center is a proud clinical advisory partner of The Investors Forum, a prominent angel investment platform that brings together accredited investors from leading executive networks, U.S.-based angel clubs, and top Israeli institutions.

As part of the forum’s clinical evaluation committee, our team provides expert feedback on health-related startups, supports the screening process, and helps guide investment decisions based on real-world medical needs and innovation potential.

This partnership bridges frontline clinical insight with early-stage investment, fostering impactful healthcare innovation.
